I have both the hg and pg models. Been fishing them all summer. Both are very powerful reels--sometimes it was hard to believe how easy it was to reel in the fish. If you have a good arm it will outcast any reel on the boat. Can't wait to try it out on the fall striper run.Only shortcoming I found was the lack of a reel clamp--had one bad moment when the reel came loose fighting a fish--after that I used a big plastic tie wrap as insurance. There is no problem with the larger reel seats, especially the metal ones. The smaller Fuji reel seats don't seem to have enough gripping surface for the reels. Note to Shimano--make a reel clamp--nobody wants to deep six a $500 reel!
