Default Manasquan Inlet Blues 5/14/24

Wasn't excepting much since i arrived close to the bottom of the tide but I needed to get some water time. Started off throwing a Rapala XR14, followed by a Yo-Zuri Twitch Bait then a A27-all came up empty. For whatever reason I decide to try a 6" Lil Doc. Made about 50 casts and was just about to call it a day when I had a blowup right at the end of the retrieve-it caught my off guard and i was never able to come tight. Stayed with the Lil Doc and ended up having 4 more missed blow ups but was able to land 1. Again for no reason I decided to tie on a Yo-Zuri Mag Popper. Ended up going 6 for 9 and left them biting after I broke off the plug trying to swing in another fish. Fish ranging from #4-12. Did see one other fish caught on the Manasquan side. I was the only one catching on my side. Stopped by Fisherman's Supply to replace the plug I lost and 3 guys who were at the inlet followed me in asking for the same plug.-LOL
