Default Lamiglass black

Thinking about the Lamiglass Black 7030C paired with Avet SXJ or Daiwa Lexa 300 for blackfish and sea bass. Would 50lb braid be too much

50 pound braid will be fine.

50 pound braid will be fine but I would go lighter if you plan to fish with jigs for blackfish. The smaller diameter helps when fishing lighter jigs.

Have it with a coffee grinder Newell 220 and 50 lb suffix. Nice setup for 50 FOW and up. Can comfortably hang 12oz on it when dunking crabs on bait rigs.

I love my Diawa Lexa w/ 50 # braid. Use is on Blackfish, dragging mojos, and bunker spoons. Great match up in my mind.............Papa

Absolutely agree. You want to be able to button that drag down to muscle fish out of structure. Lever drags don't like that.
