Default Delaware River Small mouth help

Looking for help about Delaware River smallies. I usually fish it in the summer and do well, never visited in the spring. Any advice on lures, and types of water to fish?

Eddy's and shallow flats are a good starting place. They are going to look for warmer areas without a lot of current to spawn. Dark colored tubes and jerkbaits work well.
