Re: Herpes to control carp?
From personal observations and the experience of a lot of guys that fish the Passaic, the river is phenomally fertile and productive. It has damn near every warm water species and lots of each. There are huge baitfish schools of god knows what. The upper Passaic is a very healthy river.

Re: Herpes to control carp?
I can almost promise that obliterating carp from there would have some kind of negative unforeseen effect. That's just how nature works. The other fish do just fine in there with the muddy water.

Re: Herpes to control carp?
I definitely second that. And also what you said about them eating other stuff we don't want in the water. When I called on that raw sewage spilling into the river a couple weeks back, there were a mess load of carp sifting & eating the literal shit that was coming out. How many of you eat carp again?
