Default 4-16 cockolla pass Tarpon & the dead river

Took advantage of the Beautiful Day figured if I don't get any bites at least I'll get some color. Got to my pond took a walk around to get the wind behind me set up to rods while pitching worms for Largemouth catfish Court one decent Largemouth & 1 super dink & a perch.

Saw no jumping or rooting & all of a sudden wham rod goes off & I'm into a pig. Fought her for close to 20 minutes on 6lb line she took me under a log into trees I dunno how I landed her. Sorry I don't carry a scale because whenever I do I get skunked but she was heavy I needed 2 hands to get around her & I wear a 2xl glove. After her I decided to try the river for striped catfish & caught only some white perch & an awesome sunset.

You crack me up dude...always love your posts...even when it takes me twenty minutes to figure out what kind of fish you're actually talking about! Those Tarpon are a blast on a light setup like that. I've only ever caught them when fishing for Bass and it's a kick. Nice job landing her.
