Smile Monster Hunter (part 1: Catfish) ...the one I've been waiting for!

It finally happened! Caught this big gurl a few nights ago and she made all those hours and bug bites worth it. She faught hard and went on multiple long runs. I'm not sure exactly how big she was but she was at the very minimum 32 inches and FAT. After using alot of different baits she ate a hot dog like most of the big ones did. Time to change up the species. What should I do next? 24" plus smallie, 25" 8 lb largie, 36" carp....there are so many more I want to do. What do you guys think?

Thumbs up Re: Monster Hunter (part 1: Catfish) ...the one I've been waiting for!

That's a 10 lb plus catfish right there dude. Congrats on the Catfish domination. Go for the invasive Flathead catfish next. They are a great river predator!

Fat kitty! Great job!

If you like the way catfish pull, you'll love big carp!

That's a big channel cat. They are fun to fish for and fight great. You catch a 24" smallie I would love to see it that's a giant. 20"ers are around but hard to find one that tops 22.
