Default Took a trip to Jigging World

With the crappy weather yesterday I decided to take a trip up to Jigging World. I already got a couple of their rods from Fisherman's Den North and I've been real happy with them so far.
I have to say that it's a really nice shop with a great selection of tackle including some stuff you don't find everywhere in addition to their own line of rods. I got the Black Widow 150 as an early Xmas present to myself after putting it off for months. I matched it up with a Daiwa Lexa I already owned and it's a super setup. Should be great for fluke, bass and tog. Unfortunately I didn't have a chance to use it today for stripers but tomorrow looks good.
This makes the third Jigging World rod I got so I guess it's an addiction now. I love how light and thin they are yet they still have amazing power and backbone, far beyond what you'd expect given their light weight.
Yong has a nice operation going with knowledgeable staff (including a friendly dog, Buttercup) and great tackle. I would definitely recommend checking out the shop. Thanks again, Yong!

Ohhhh! The new shop is even more dangerous... when I say that, I mean on your wallet, wish I had credit like Trump, it would be a beautiful thing.. I have a few K in both shops already, and will continue going... I have the ghost hunter and lexa that I've used for most species including tog last and this year, not one complaint other than wish I had more to try!

Second that.

I took a ride over there while visiting in-laws during thanksgiving. Ended up getting their JW surf rider 9'6" surf rod with a daiwa DG4500 reel. all for 20% off list. They spooled it up with 30# power pro in blue and I was ready to roll. Caught my first striper off the surf next morning. I should of picked up a tsunami talk popper but perhaps next time. you should go their just for their blackfish jigs... lots of other jigs as well. Cool place it's a little tricky finding the place for the first time but look for the PC warehouse building on rte. 17.

You're gonna love that BW150. And over the next few weeks you're going to see the launch of the BW150 conventional! They should come in any day now.
