Default watersheds

Has anyone noticed the past couple of years that the newark watersheds have become increasingly crowded. I have been going for the past 20 years , have been fortunate to go mostly on weekdays when there was 3-5 boats at most. Now the average is close to 15, which doesn't sound like much but due to limited parking it is crowded. I guess nobody works anymore and just wonder what drew the attention. Its not just me saying this either, I know of 3 different individuals that have been getting permits for years and have chose not this year for the same reason. I remember back when the watershed commission ran things you had to call ahead and it was limited. The other thing the reservoirs do not need is tournaments on the weekend.
The reservoirs used o be a quiet, tranquil place to fish, sadly no longer.

Social media + covid. At least you need permits to fish the sheds, things are a lot worse at other lakes.
