yeah... that was a rule I never knew about after all these years watching... and Miller being ejected really screwed up the whole rotation lineup..

Rangers were unbelievable up until it was 3-2, and then "POOF" they fell apart the rest of the game...

I keep saying they need a pure shooter/scorer who is consistent every game... way too many missed opportunities putting the puck in the net is what lost it.... Biggest disappointment again was Kreider who consistently CAN'T FINISH!! Fast too last night couldn't finish

dose any of these things sound familiar:
only playing part of the game
missing open nets
failure to finish plays
repeating the same poor play over and over
it just really bothers me knowing they can play much better hockey.
and if it were not for hank that game could have been a dd beating.

YES to all your points BD .....and the most disturbing is AV saying they're doing a lot of things right after every game......well, then I guess it's the few things theyre doing wrong over and over for why they lose....and if they don't fix it NOW....OTHER TEAMS WILL BE PASSING THEM THE NEXT FEW WEEKS!!

Losing to the devils usually takes at least 8 to 24 hours to get past and now St Louis and Dallas up next. I just hope we don't over react at the trade deadline.
While it would be nice to have someone who can score at will or more important when we have the open chances we still are 5th in the league in scoring, 2nd place in the Metro and have a great chance for a playoff spot.
Hank looks solid again, we just need to SHOOT more when the lane is there instead of the extra pass. Its all confidence

Agreed we have to stop getting out hustled for pucks, Kreider whom I loved in the past is a shell of the player he can be this year and annoys me every night lately but he is only 24 and to trade him for Eric Stall or Loui Eriksson or worse Patrick Marleau may backfire as did all our other younger for older trades in the past. I would rather have a good third line Center who can win face offs and grind or if we trade with Carolina get Jeff Skinner instead of Eric Stall. A proven 3rd line center gets Hayes back to wing and balances lines 1 and 2. Except AV will change that every night anyway.

Figure we need 30 points out of the remaining games to be solid for a another run in the "real" season. Devils wont be there but still hate loosing that game as we could have buried them

Agreed Dales...... we have a contender team if everyone would get back on their game.... I'd hate to trade Kreider and he figures it out and becomes a star on another team, exactly what's happened over the years...

When our defense is working, we can stop any team out there... and I think if Nash and Kreider would get their scoring going, we can go deep into playoffs. I'm hoping we're not getting the full story on Nash and they will come out saying he's out for the season.

Let's see if they spring back against St Louis tonight and keep getting the 2 pts.

this all sounds good but I think there are some underlining situations that are going on behind the scenes.i am not sure if its player to player or player coach but there are some problems and they need to get them fixed one way or the other.scratching up enough points just to make the play-offs is not good enough.we need to build up some steam going forward.i could be wrong but
that's my 2$.
