Default Greenwood Lake Access/Public Launching. 1036

Best of health to everyone. We are now at 1036 signatures.....want to push to possibly 1500. There is the possibility that this issue may be picked up by NJ channel 12 news....just waiting to connect with the contact.

Tomorrow night there will be a zoom meeting with the Greenwood Lake Commission. 3 of us will represent UFANJ. It is a monthly meeting....so....it would be great if the next meeting in June....they see DIFFERENT faces. Most importantly we must be respectful in these meetings. Cannot have crazed maniacs yelling, screaming, blurting out expletives.....will not help the cause. Even tempered and cool is the way to go despite this issue bolstering a lot of anger.

Anyone you know: moms, dads, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins.....have them sign. Tri-state area people.....if you can drive to Greenwood.....SIGN.

Bass Clubs: bass opens June 15 please discuss the issue at your meetings/tournaments and SIGN.

The online petition link is up at the top of this feed. The letter/paper petition can be sent to you from here also. Let us know your address/email and we will get it right out to you.

Paper petition due back on or before June 30 2021.....still have a month!:

This is a public waterbody people......stocked from funds from YOUR licenses. Pg 30 of fish code: "Fishing Allowed 24 Hours"...

Fish and Wildlife also just emailed out "Places to Fish in NJ".....they include Greenwood on the list AND say ramps are available......there is no discussion of ACCESS or ridiculous prices being asked at said "ramps". All marinas are in agreement this is a tactic to keep fishermen away so they can cater to "their customers".....the weekender hasn't got a chance. How fair is this??

Please be vigilant and continue to get the word out.....we have to nip this in the bud....if no one seems to care.....then the marinas will get what they want and then therefore the lake should cease being stocked.

Everyone be well.....keep you posted.

UFANJ
