Merrill Creek Crappie
Read there are crappie in Merrill Creek, was wondering if anyone ever caught any there. Structure looks good with all the wood in the water, was thinking of giving it a shot

Re: Merrill Creek Crappie
I fish Merrill Creek a lot. Never caught one. Never saw one. I'd guess that there are some in there but not in strong numbers.

Re: Merrill Creek Crappie
Pretty sure it's on the stocking list for crappie. Never caught one in there either. Jumbo yellow perch are there for sure and plentiful. Usually buried in the weeds.

i tried a few times at the ends of trips that didn't yield much and have caught a few small ones. It has since been removed off my crappie hot spots list haha

Re: Merrill Creek Crappie
Thanks for the reply's, going to give it a shot, the perch sound interesting also. Heading up to Lake George this weekend, perch fishing there is great, so is the Landlocked Salmon and Lakers this time of the year. Ice is almost gone, should be all open by the weekend
