Default Fuel flow issues

I have twin 135 optis on a 25 center. The problem.

My primer balls suck down and shut down the engines. The set up.
200 gallon tank going to two 90 GPH racor filters going to two flow scan sensors to the balls to the engines.what I have done so far. Pumped tank out and removed some water. No help. Changed filters. No help. Bypassed flow scans. No help. Changed balls and ALL fuel lines. No help. Changed vent hose. No help.
The problem occurs after I run a little while. I ran out to the old FG bout today. No problem until I was almost back. Same thing last week, after awhile it will just close down. Any ideas? I am at a loss. I know it is somewhere on the fuel side. Maybe there is something floating around in the tank that I can't find???.

Help

Sounds like you looked at all the places I would have. Are you sure you changed all the fuel lines? Reason I ask is I had a friend who had the same issue. After spending lots of time and money replacing things, it turned out to be very small section of fuel line hose they didnt replace that was collapsing on them.

Sounds like both motors are having the same issue, right? If so it would seem to me that it has to be something between the tank and where the fuel line splits to feed both motors. This is where would start looking around. You could try to run the engines on portable tank at different locations of your fuel system to try and narrow down your search. Maybe start by disconnecting the fuel line from your tank, run that line directly to your portable tank, run the boat and if it checks out OK then you know it's something having to do with the tank, vent, check valve etc. If it does the same thing then it has to be something upline of the tank and you'd work you way upline bypassing other components that are inline heading towards the engines.

Best of luck Fly.... Let us know what you find.

I found someone. I have to haul the boat tomorrow. He will filter all the fuel and pressure wash the tank I.D. I will have it back Friday hopefully with all issues resolved.

Try this...

Take and leave off the gas cap. Had a job just like that on the tow boat. Leave it on gunwale and see

Have the same issue on my 25' Parker.Thought it was Sandy related as I found the boat nose down in a swamp.I had reprimed the whole system from the tank to the primer bulbs to fix ( I thought). However the problem does return on one engine usally when my tank is low on fuel, maybe 40 gallons left.I just squeeze the primer ball a few times and it seems to correct, but it is not right.Let me know if you get a solution.Ill keep working on mine.

I had the tank pumped out and pressure washed yesterday. They found a bucket full of goo and other stuff caught up in the baffles and elsewhere.
another problem was the pick up tubes were too long and may have been sucking down to the tank wall. It is back in the water and almost ready to go. I am optimistic that the problems are solved. I am going to take it out for a test run to the BA and back on Sunday. Wish me luck
