Default big pond crappie report

I took the trusty old town out on the big pond today and found crappies in 5 fow along weed lines. The males were in close and the bigger females were just off the weed lines in the deeper water. I got a bullhead catfish on the jig and bobber that does not happen too often and i got 12 sunnies as well. The lake is warming up fast with the nice sunny days and the water level is slowly comming up as well. There is a bunch of diddy moe (mud that floats up from the bottom) floating around in the shallow coves that makes it fun to work your stuff around but for the most part the weeds are not that bad, with the rain in the forecast sunday and later in the week the water should be up some by next weekend.
