Default New Years Eve Skis!

A few of us planned for the last trip of the year on New Years Eve morning. We all met up and launched together spreading out trying to find some hot spots. I got to my first drop and within maybe 20 minutes jigging for eyes i got crushed. After some heart pounding runs i got this 37" muskie on the deck. It hit a 2-1/2" swim shad, haha. I take a few pics and quickly released it.

With my heart still pounding i text the pics to the rest of the crew and Mikey immediately responds "Reddi is fighting one right now also"

"YES!!"

I haul ass across the lake to find our boy holding a thick 44"!!! 2 muskies hooked and landed at practically the same time at opposite sides of the lake while jigging for walleyes!

We hoped it was gonna be sign of an epic day but unfortunately the lake didn't give up much after those two fish. Not a bad ending to this crazy year.

Great job guys! Thrill of a lifetime. Goes from "Man I've got a giant walleye on!" to "Wtf is this thing!" to "Holy shit it's a nice musky!". All of us would love to have that experience just once in their lifetime.

Awesome pictures and great job landing them on light tackle. This is why we fish, you just never know what's going to latch on to your offering.
