Default advice on a gps

Does anybody ever use one of these units.Looking to buy a gps for around 600 dollars or less.Is it user friendly and how is its preformance.Thanks for the help. THE unit is a garmin 541c chartplotter. Thanks

The best ones on the market are the Garmin. You could get a decent one for $200.00 or so. Your best bet is to get it on Ebay.

A friend of mine has that unit and it's great. Fast to load and react, easy to use and Garmin has great customer support. You should get many years of trouble free use out of it.

Look around on craigslist. I just saw a 541 new in the box with all the hardware for $100. This was a few weeks back and now I can't find the ad......sorry

Any Garmin is the way to go

Thanks guys.Just bought the 541 at west marine in Brick.Very nice unit.Now all i need to do is get out there and put it to good use.
