Default Manasquan inlet boat incident

Saw an article and video in the press of a boat that was grounded on the rocks while another boat was attempting to tow him in, thankfully no one got hurt but two boats lost, the tow boat sunk and the towee got rocked!

Not sure how it happened but I guess when they got to the inlet the boat being towed was not lined up with the entrance to the inlet??

Sad to see a boat getting battered like that.

Sad....was on the beach two weeks ago and a boat beached on the PPB side. Thank God it was extremely calm and the lifeguards pushed him off and his friend came to tow him. Be safe out there!

I'll be the towing boat ran out of gas.

I had a tow near the VZ last Saturday afternoon where the 20' mako nearly pitchpoled. Swamped. But did not roll. I was wondering why they were so quiet until we got back to their dock.
