Default Where would you go for LM or Trout now?

If you can go anywhere in the country for Large Mouth bass fishing or Trout, where would you go this time of the year?

Hmm bass would have to be in Texas, falcon lake. Nice and warm plus big bass.

Trout I would be ice fishing Milwaukee harbor for big Brown trout and steelhead.

Pretty cool and those were just average videos. Some amazing videos on Milwaukee harbor both open water and through the ice. Not into bass fishing but know I've heard of tournament guys turning in 40+ lb bags at tournaments.5 fish averaging 8lbs would be fun even for those green carp.

Couple other options would.be Florida, always awesome with 10lb lm a real possibility plus if you head down ton Miami you could catch peacock bass as well. Not sure how lake Guntersville Alabama, table rock Missouri, bull shoals Arkansas, Kentucky lake Kentucky fish this time of the year but I've bowfished these lakes during tournaments and there is a reason why these lakes are nationally recognized for bass fishing. Coming from NJ you wouldn't believe the size of these lakes. When you are doing 40-50 Mph and the local roads and it takes 1-2 hours to get the other side of the lak it's hard to even picture how much water there is to fish.

For trout the white River in Arkansas is awesome for stream fishing. A 38lb brown was caught there in the last year or two plus plenty of other big fish. Then you have flaming gorge Utah and lake superior for lake trout over 40lbs. Of course great bear lake in nwt canada would be ultimate lake trout trip with fish over 50-60lbs a possibility but will put back 10k for a week. Or a wild steelhead trip to Washington or Oregon most fish might only be 10lbs but catching a native steelhead would definitely be an awesome achievementioned. Lots and lots of options out there just depends how far you wanna go and how much you wanna spend

Still warm- so I don't need to butter up wife or hit wife tax- plus my old man lives in Stuart- so many pigs in water you wouldn't expects thou +1 for Texas
Trout- I'd love to try green river vt. And the area around Breckinridge Colorado. Grandpa lived there and apparently it's gorgeous and still a pretty awesome fishery(gramps also hit green river well) I ve never been fishing to either so I can't say- thou weather is an issue. Thou if it's cold snowy I d just snowboard

For bass I'd hit Okeechobee. Plenty warm and a legit shot at an 8+.

You'll freeze your butt off going for trout in the US/Canada this time of year. Maybe give Tasmania a shot? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6NlcIhSI6E&t=0s
