Default Hot Weather, Hot Fishing

Took a scenic trip up the river today. Prob covered a good 5 miles. Fished for about 3 hours, got 7 pike and 1 foul hooked perch. Got a couple 25-28s, and a couple 30-33s. One of em was THICK! And, the biggest one managed to fully clear the water on a sic jump!! Awesome. Here's my 3, my bro got 4. Both of us ended the day with pb's.

All fish caught on unknown lures in an undisclosed location.........

Also, I saw my first pompton river pike recently. My brother caught it a few days ago. Went a solid 25. I'm sure there's some bigger ones around.........

I landed 2 out of the Pompton during the week. Had lots of follows also. The state stocks it pretty hard with Pike also (check the states website for numbers). Sleeper river in my opinion...

Nice catching!! Hey... I know that tree stump!! Spot burner !!! LOL

I hit a different section this morning, 5 small pike and a couple bass. Had at least that many hook ups and misses. I did see a couple big ones in the shallow water, but nothing picture worthy today.

Nice going and congrats on the PB's !!
