I heard the road going past the bait shop was closed. does anyone know if it is still closed?

I would avoid this access even if it was open as it is the LUNAR SURFACE!

Go the back way in which should get you to the launch and spare your truck and trailer abuse and save time.

Have not been there in a few weeks, so it ya get there post a report as I am thinking of going later this weekend

made it there last night...the back way has been redone and is pretty smooth....the lake is very high and murky but managed a few bullheads about 6 in 4 hours. fished last Friday before the storm and had 17...still no channels but had a bullhead at 24''
