Default Refreezing whole squid

I discovered that if you have whole squid left over from fishing they freeze perfectly if you put in a container, cover with water, add some salt and freeze. Come back just like when I defrosted the 3 pound box.

Use Kosher salt, it also toughens them up so they stay on the hook longer. I usually defrost mine in a briny mix of kosher salt on the way out to the fishing grounds.
