The past few years, I've seen several dorsal fins closer and closer to the beach as I've gone out the inlets fishing. Never really gave it too much thought on how big these guys were getting, obviously big enough whatever species are present. Kids will be at my ankles in the water.....

there are sharks all over the surf, I got a bunch last year at night in manalokin. We got a couple that were comparable in size to that one. I was scared to land the large ones, they run through the surf like 30 mile per hr when fighting them jumping in and out. Awesome catch!

I heard about a shark sighting off Union Beach. Of course there are no pictures of the maneater...
OMG I'll never go near the water again!

Now we know what split open the dolphin off SH....lol

i say Sand Tiger used to see lots of em in delaare bay, i'm more scared of bluefish and calico crabs in the wash then sharks

Looks like a Grey Nurse Shark . They have one at Jenkinsons aquarium.

I saw on the news tonight and they showed seaside heights with sharks in the surf and one was right up on the sand.
