Default "Deck Restore" at Lowes and HD

Has anyone used this product ?

I have a deck that was rinsed in seawater during Sandy and has dried out. I would like to get another 10 years of use. I know this product has to be applied correclty to get the 10-12 years of it.

If anyone has experience with it, I would appreciate any info.

We just did a fence with it

Strong fumes
Had to brush it on fence, not sure if it would roll better on deck
Notice it dried different color in hot sun vs shade

I used it last summer by this year it was fading so I called home depot. The maker then would send me My money back or the new formula which I opted for that looks more like paint

Question would be how long your deck was "rinsed" in salt water? Keep in mind that the saltwater got into places on & under the deck that you are never going to be able to get to with a brush or roller. I think it may help the surface ares but I wouldn't reasonably expect to get 10-12 more years, it will be a crap shoot.

The deck was breifly hit as th initial storm surge came up which receded rapidly. I am guessing 3-5 minutes max. The water didn't get into the house so, I don't think it was on the deck very long.

Thank you for the feedback.
