Default Don't put the gear away just yet!

Hope everyone is doing as well as they can after the storm. I know a lot of people on here might not even consider fishing anytime soon due to sandy, but I just couldn't help but stand staying in my house without electric another day so i decided I would at least wet a line. So after getting my PB LMB last year at a certain location I decided I might as well give it a shot to see if hes still cruising the area... Well he was....Last time I caught him he went 8.2 lbs. I was throwing a 1/2 jig with chigger craw trailer reallllll slowwww. After about 45 minutes of not even a sniff i real something pick the jig up and then a THUMP! set the hook and got a look at this fish, and honestly couldn't believe what I saw...the thing was pushin 10lbs without a shadow of a doubt...well after the fish made one big head shake not only did he bend my jig but cracked the shaft on my pole and off he went for another day...lesson here is stay out there the fattys are still eating before winter
