Default echo lake in howell

Couldn't sleep so decided to go fishing. Got to echo lake at 530, fished power bait and cleos. got 7 on power bait and one on blue/chrome cleo. Left a little after 9 and gonna cook em for lunch. All the fish were between 12 and 14 inches. Cormorants are killing the fishing there, also fished there opening day till 11 and only seen a handful of fish caught.

I heard that they are an invasive species and also protected. If you catch a snakehead or a flathead cat they tell you to dispose of it cause they hurt the native fish population. why not cormorants? they do the same thing!! makes no sense to me.
