I've seen homeowners on the west side of the lake put row boats in there but I've also seen kayakers get told to get out of the water. Reason being was that the police stated they didnt have a legit location to get into the water easily for a rescue if need be. Granted, out of all the years I've fished there I've seen the same row boat a handful of times and the one kayak got told to get out of the water. I think it's safe to say that its shoreline only... If you find out differently I'd love to know. There's a ton of tasty looking shoreline that you absolutely cannot access along a majority of the entire west side of the lake. The east side is tough too as the trees are thick.

Thumbs up Re: Clark Resivior 6/23

Ive been fishing there for 25 years, never had a problem. My parents live on Madison Hill Rd. Big channel Cats to 15 lbs, perch, pickeral Lm, bullheads and assorted panfish live in this body of water. Some of the fish have dwindled down to nothing but there is a ton of LM in there. GREAT FISHERY!!!

Was there last evening till a lil after 9 PM and caught some nice slab crappie on a husky jerk. I couldnt believe how they were crushing it! Also, the water was borderline boiling with carp EVERYWHERE. No bass though for me. I've seen some nice cats caught but nothing even close to 15 lbs! That'd be a sight to see. I've heard there were picks and yellow perch in there but have yet to see any.

I grew up fishing the res ,milton lake and the rahway river lots have changed over the years.Used to get pickeral in milton and the res havent seen one in years.Never saw white perch now there everywhere in the river.Used to see blueclaws in the river at rahway park. When i fished clark res as a kid some of the people used to chase us out saying it was private property,But being from Rahway I just said FU and kept fishing ,never really liked the stuck up snobs from clark.
