Stuffed Crabs ( Torta Alimasag )
Stuffed Crabs
Torta Alimasag ( Philipine ) 2 Dz. Blue claw Crabs ( save the outer shell ) 1 small Onion ( diced ) 2 Garlic Cloves ( diced ) 2 Med Lrg Tomatoes ( diced ) 2 lrg Potatoes ( diced ) 10 Jumbo Shrimp Peeled and Chopped 1 egg Boil Crabs, pick all the meat out, sautee onion, and garlic then add Tomatoes and the Potatoes,cook til almost tender,add Shrimp give it a stir, cook 1 minute and add Crab meat .Let cool after its cool add the egg as a binder. Stuff the outer shell with the mixture, make a batter coat the mixture. In a large skillet heat 1/2 inch of olive oil, Place the Crabs batter side down, fry til golden brown enjoy! Extra filling can be used to make pot stickers ( Wontons )

Richie, that looks awesome. Have to try it next time I go crabbin'. Although, I must admit, im not too good @ getting the meat out of those things!

It's like clams casino but with crabs. Should have done that on Wednesday.

I tried the real deal yesterday! Richie thanks again to you and your wife for packing me up a to go bag to bring home. My fiance loves crab wontons usually so I let her taste a couple of these. She told me I should have gotten the recipe, little does she know! Thanks again Richie
