Default Little muskies

I've been catching and seeing lots of these little guys with teeth in the D&R Feeder Canal. Some are small like this guy others I've caught up to 20". Not like any pickerel I've ever seen the mouth is too wide although this picture doesn't show it,
are they stocked Tiger Muskies?

Thought I was crazy when I saw about 10 of them in a 100 yard stretch north of your general area! I'm certain they're Tigers! It's a beautiful thing!

I'm pretty sure that's a chain pickerel, that black stripe under the eye gives it away.

They have real wide boxy mouths not like the skinny long pointy mouths pickerel have. I was thinking they might be pike fry I'll get a better picture next one I catch as I'm sure it will happen the place is loaded with them.

Red fin pickerel. Lots of them in the canal. Tear-drop under the eye means no equal muskellunge.

100% pickerel. The eye stripe is a dead give away but markings and body all say pickerel as well

Tear drop gives away a chain pickerel, but the rest doesn't look like it. Get better photos anyway. The state does stock muskies in the canal, at least has fairly recent.

.

Interesting catch. I would like a redfin pickerel for my aquarium.

This is a pic of a Redfin pickerel on the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commision website. It looks very similar to the one you caught.
