Did I noticed correctly that the Habs and Blueshirts are now tied in points with five games remaining? Would love to grab the home-ice advantage in Round 1.

I can't ever remember a Ranger team this SOFT .... it would be one thing if these guys were fast, skillful AND COULD PUT THE PUCK IN THE DAMN NET ALL THE TIME!!! But they don't and look where we're at... 2 weeks to go and AV STILL CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHO TO PLAY WITH WHO!! WTF???? I am so over listening to AV say we're still trying to FIGURE IT OUT!!! All the Ranger fans I know are so disgusted with this season.... if they are tossed in the first round, it's time for a complete cleaning from Mr President Glen Sather right down to the bench coaches.... Since owner Dolan doesn't know his ass from a puck and Sather has been brown-nosing him for years, it's pretty unlikely...

Well.. let's see if AV figured it out yet for the Pens tonight ...

And Bill, I think Habs would get home ice since Rangers are only in Wildcard spot and points don't matter.... (maybe I'm wrong, but not sure)

Habs would definitely have home ice due to being a division winner . Points don't matter between Rangers and Habs.
It goes metro div 1, 2 and 3, then Atlantic division 1,2 and 3 and then the 2 wildcards can be from either or the same division based on points.

Current standings would mean this:
Div 1 Leader with most points in this case Caps plays the 2nd wildcard or 8th seed right now Duffs Bruids

Other Div leader with less points in this case the Habs play the 1st wildcard in this case the Rangers.

Metropolitan Division #2 gets home ice and plays metro div # 3. In this case its a Columbus vs Pitts matchup

Atlantic Division #2 gets home ice and plays Atlantic div # 3. In this case Ottawa vs Toronto

Any points tiebreakers are Regular Season wins, then head to head

Personally I think it was more fair the old way. Top 8 in conference seeded by points.
Rangers are seeded 7th and have 10 more points than Altantic Div 2 and 3

OK... real quick to summarize last night's loss to the Penguins, who are without half their team....

1) 3 on 1 and CAN'T SCORE!!!

2) Grabner has got bitten by the Ranger curse... start the season like a ball of fire and then completely lose it for the 2nd half

3) Zuc forgetting you have to shoot the puck when you get close to the goalie in the SO!!

4) Is there not ONE tough guy in the whole Ranger organization that we could bring up for the playoffs??
