Greenwood Lake Public Boat Launches Update 7/7/21

Hope everyone is ok/healthy and enjoying the summer.

We are now at 1,654 signatures on the Online Petition (link pinned at the top of this feed). We need 346 more signatures to hit 2,000.

If you haven't signed, please consider supporting us. If you have signed, THANK YOU, AND....please get the word out and try to solicit some more signatures. There should be no problem making it to 2,000.

With BASS season well underway and many tournaments going on....please ALL BASS CLUBS throughout the state discuss at your meetings and have all your members sign for Public Boat Launch Ramps on Greenwood Lake. If you know someone who is in a bass club, spread the word.

Will be held LIVE at the West Milford Library 1470 Union Valley Road, West Milford, NJ 07480 OR you can also join via ZOOM; just go to GLC website click on attend the meeting and they will send you the link.

If PUBLIC ACCESS to this OR ANY public waterbody is important to you, please consider to attend BOTH or one at least one of these meetings. Both have a 3 minute Public Comment period at the end each meeting. It is extremely important that the concerns of the public be known.....it is vital to have NUMBERS of individuals attend in unison. THIS IS ABOUT PUBLIC ACCESS TO A PUBLIC LAKE such that the entire "PUBLIC" can enjoy the waterbody.

Our written petition deadline has passed....thanks to all of you for your support and sending us back completed petitions. As previously stated, however, we are keeping the ONLINE petition open for more signatures. THE MORE THE BETTER.....PLEASE....anyone you know....even in the TRISTATE area that can drive to GREENWOOD LAKE for recreational opportunities SIGN, SIGN, SIGN!
YOU ARE ALL STAKEHOLDERS WHETHER YOU FISH THE LAKE OR NOT....you paid license fees that enables the stocking of the lake.

Please think about attending a meeting and have your voices heard.....thanks so much for your continued, ongoing, support. With this kind of backing, PUBLIC LAUNCH RAMPS ON GREENWOOD LAKE can become a reality.
