Default NY Rangers Playoffs

So got sick of the disposing knives thread LOL.
Went to MSG last night for Game 1 against the Pens. What a marathon triple OT only to lose. Got to MSG at 5:30 and left disappointed at 11:45

As a true Ranger fan I am calling complete BS on the goalie interference disallowed goal by us with 3 min to go in regulation. Was called a goal on the ice and didn't see much to overturn it on Pitts challenge but they did overturn it anyway and we had to play on.

Panarin MIA but when he had puck control: "just shoot the puck Barry"

Crosby worked the refs as usual but cant say Messier didnt in his day.

Also thought we got away from what we do best and were too concentrated on hitting vs skating. Too many passes vs shots, faceoffs could have been better etc but the refs

Saw a lot of good in this young team and obviously some mistakes but bodes well for the future.

Garden was hopping and a good time except of course for the loss. Hope they rebound for game 2

bummed that we lost but i thought all and all it was a great game of hockey.we
had allot of chances to put that game away and the same old fanned shots, cross bars and to many passes{will that ever stop} seemed to be our demise.we still have time so"LETS GO RANGERS"!!!!!!!.

I agree TOO MANY PASSES ...and we lose possession half the time...SHOOT THE PUCK ....and our top guys need to bury that puck .... Panarin gets paid $40,000 + per period so nows the time to earn it... Rangers came out on fire to start but didn't continue it .... very entertaining game and wished that goal counted .... The crowd was so loud on the MSG feed but other feed they muted the crowd to make it sound much quieter there.. guess there's politics in sports too

Much better game. Solid in more areas of the ice. Still more passes and giveaways but cant argue with a 5 to 2 win!!
Time will tell if Jeff Carter pays for running Igor at the end? Best not to deal with in new games and thought it should have been taken care of last night

They must've put something in the team water for everyone to be this bad playing a mediocre Pen team.... WOW!!! What an embarrassment to all the fans and themselves...can't shoot, can't defend, totally lost on the ice.... what a shame... our top guys all but disappeared this whole series.... thank god for a fun regular season!

I almost wish I didnt start this post LOL. Last 2 games were tough to watch.

Split I wish Pens were a mediocre team but we are letting them play elite.
BD / I do think our lack of playoff experience is hurting us.
Crosby, Letang, Malkin and Carter killing us.

- Coach Gallant doesn't feel (his words) they have to match lines with Pens??
Our 4th line out often against Pens 1st line. No timeout when we are getting crushed?

Mika???

- IGOR chants on the road and no one steps up to take the load off.
- Face off losses again and again.
- Fox looks lost without Lindgren who was a physical presence along with solid play.

- Panarin wont shoot.

Anyway LGR tonight and hope the no quit mantra is true. Keep the faith, we have come back from down 3-1 before and against who/ Da Pens!

Hope the MSG crowd serenades LOUIE!

BD, I said after 2 goals, one more goal and I can't watch anymore.... when they scored 3 goals in a row I was in shock!!! Thank god they held on the rest of the game ..... still so many things going wrong.... Kreider/Zib CAN'T SCORE!! FACEOFF NIGHTMARE! PANARIN NOT HIMSELF! We're making their 3rd string goalie into a star

Let's come out flying in Pit and bring it back to the garden for #7

LGR!!!!
