Default mojo for fluke

Has anyone tried jigging a mojo with swim shad for fluke

I've seen guys use 16oz mojo style jigs up in Nantucket. The baits are always gulp/strip bait/bait fish combo's. Fluke are less likely to whack a plain old unscented plastic bait like a swim shad.
