most guys are just catching them because they are great fighters on light tackle. some guys eat them , but they are tough to fillet correctly because they have so many bones in them, many like the roe from the females also

just finished a bike ride loop and crossed back home across lambertille/nh free bridge.
windy as all heck but the big d river guide boat was out just down from the bridge. they were definitely getting into fish. in the couple minutes I watched they lost 1 but brought in 2. I shouted to them and they said they caught 10 so far. |
