Default Raritan Bay Marina Recommendation

I’m looking for a marina recommendation on Raritan Bay for this Spring. I’d like somewhere that I can keep my boat for the months of April, May and possibly June. My boat is 32’ LOA w/ a beam of 10’6”. I’ll be striper fishing. Places I’ve slipped before are Brown’s Point and AH municipal marina. I’m wondering what else is out there. Both places were great but the current and narrow slips at Brown’s Point are an issue if someone other than myself wants to borrow the boat. The slips at AH were not ideal for my elderly father. Thanks in advance!

You might try Monmouth Cove marina, they have floating docks.. If you're a Monmouth County Resident I think they give you a slight discount too... Your issue might be only wanting to slip for a few months as they might want you to sign up for the entire season.

I will second Monmouth Cove Marina. I have been there for 15 years. Great marina, all about fishing.

I was just there yesterday. MCM is full for the season. Both wet and rack.

A little bit out of the way, but phenomenally nice marina is the new one the State built in Cartaret on the Kill. Check it out.

The Hook has 5 foot tidal drops. Unless you go way up river the currents will always be strong moving that much water. In Morgan Creek Lockwoods is off the main creek.

The OLD Sea Tow dock off 5th Street in Highlands just south of the Clam Plant had nothing but floating docks. The owner had family medical issues and did not put in all the docks last year. They may be looking to revive the place this year?

You try Raritan Bay marina aka formerly Viking Marina? The currents on that south creek are nowhere as fast as the main creek by Browns/Morgan/Zubacks.

Also Petersons is back there is off the main Cheesequake tidal stream.
