Ok, totally understood. I've noticed that there is a subset of posters on fishing sites who seem to be more interested in the score keeping than the game, so to speak. You can see it in their pictures and tell from their descriptions. They're all about how many and how big and there's nothing in there about the fun of the experience or the fishing itself... and the fish are entirely secondary. They're just props. That's pretty sad.

I get bummed when I accidentally kill a fish, especially one that I can’t keep. This guy seems proud of himself.

And LMB are the easiest fish to handle with a simple jaw grip. Why would anyone risk killing fish with that gill-grab?
