Default Power Pro vs Generic

This thread came from Tidalfish, a fishing forum mostly for Chesapeake Bay. It is a test of Power Pro versus a generic called Kast King. The tests involve castability and knot strength.
In repeated tests sometimes the Power Pro won and sometimes the Kast King won. There was the suggestion that it all comes from the same factories but is branded differently.

The comparisons to note;

Both Spectra lines ?
How about diameters. ?
Snap breaking is not true text of knot strength !
Most braids have a very low abrasion resistance due to diameter alone !
Did u note where the U compared was made ?
I agree most likely a large mfg could have made the product .
