so above every forum/post there is an entire page of advertisements now. even running 1920x1200 screen resolution, it is over one full page of just ads before you get to any actual content. this is excessive.

it's not that i don't want to support the advertisers of this site, it's just that i am here to read posts about fishing, so i think like most people, i just ignore and scroll right past all the ads to get to the content every time. if there were a smaller number of ads which appeared inline with the content, there would be a much higher chance that i actually look at them, and maybe even click on them. but the huge block of them as they are now just get skipped right over. seems to be less than ideal for both users or advertisers.

maybe charging advertisers twice as much and running half as many ads would be a good start.
