Carp Fishing
Hit a local waterway in Union County after work. Decided to try carp fishing. It was my 3rd time...never really tried since I thought they were "trash" fish. Was I wrong. First time catching a carp and man what a blast. Ripping line, Drag screaming, the fish were all over the place. So much fun. I am hooked. TD

Re: Carp Fishing
They are super strong fish. Most underestimate them due to lack of knowledge. Cool fish to target and we have some monsters in NJ. Awesome catch!

Re: Carp Fishing
I caught one today with corn bait on a #8 gold hook and 4 lb test line in Central Jersey flood water. Ultralight carping is lots of fun.

Re: Carp Fishing
Carp are great game fish... Pound for pound they pull as hard as any fresh water fish, including Largemouth Bass, Pike, Musky, Lake Trout . Channel Cats, etc.... bob
