Default Rainy SMB

Friday got off early and hit the river, started raining on the way there.
First fish is on the ned rig, yet I was using it like a swimbait in a fast run, lol. Real nice smb, barely 17 inches but somehow chunkiest one Ive caught in a while.

Had 5 other hits/lost fish after that. Kept raining and called it a day looking forward to high water conditions next three days- but nope nothing. Had to resort to some ponds for an actual bite Wonder if the intense drop in temps shut them down. Oh well at least we got rain

Very nice! I've been doing well with SM's in the river and lost a HUGE pike!

Thumbs up Re: Rainy SMB

Nice Smallies my BROSKI! Keep at it. Hopefully the river doesn’t drop back to the level it was before the rain. The R looked like a creek. Blahhhhh!!!!
