Default Raritan River info/question

Hit the ladder today for stripes since the forecast was for 22 mph winds Monday. The river was a dirty girl today all mean and muddy. Fishing was like having amoebic dysentery, couldn't keep anything down! Bailed out after two hours and went home to google stream gauge info for the area but the USGS site doesn't list a gauge there, the closest are the RR bridges upstream at Manville, and Bound Brook downstream. Nothing near it on the Millstone either, does anyone know of any other links?

I find that if the Manville one says it's high you can bet the ladder will be high. Same goes for head gates, if the S. Branch is high so will be the gate to the big R.
Yes... Today the RR was moving with anger at the ladder at 10am the water was above the wall by 6 inches, water muddy as hell. Idk about tomorrow but if no more rain Tuesday will be good fishing.
