Default Like fishing in an aquarium!

I made two stops at local ponds this afternoon, water was low and crystal clear at both places. Tons of sunnies, small pickerel, and small to medium largemouths ambling around in front of me. Problem, was, they all had lockjaw. Threw the tackle box at them: frogs, stick worms, tubes, swimbaits, spinnerbaits, they didn't want anything to do with me. The one dink bass I was able to catch was the only fish that I didn't see first. I guess the fish all spooked out after they got a look at my ugly face!

On the plus side, I avoided the skunk, and it was an absolutely gorgeous day to be on the water.

.

I guess a cold front blew in on us. It's like 63 degrees right now. Way too cold for June.
These types of weather systems can really kill the fishing.

Either getting low or standing still for a few minutes to let the fish get used to your shape can work.
