Default Rising Sun

Tip-ups were real slow for everyone. I watched thirty five flags all day and only saw six flags go up.
Jigging butterworms worked best. I sucked. I dropped a five pound bass at the hole on my jigging rod. A three minute solid battle which it won.
A fellow fireman came borrowed my jigging rod and butterworms and slammed them in one hole. Go figure.
My son and two granddaughters came and visited me, which was very kool. My older seven year old granddaughter, Caitlyn, caught two perch on tip-ups. The fish are there but were very tight mouthed.

A good five inches. But I found over the years this body of water loses ice real fast. Many times it was unsafe while LH had six inches. Guess it's spring fed.
