Default memorial day stripers

Was up early this morning, so I figured Id head up to the boat and see whats doin on the water. around 6am I pulled outta my dock, ran and got sum bait, and found some life a few hundred feet from my slip that I marked on my way to get bait, . Found my marks, hit spotlock in about 24FOW and from 630 til about 9 I ran thru 2 dozen herring with wipers one after another. All schoolies 2-3lbs only one fish being 4-5lbs. Had a triple header on at one point, after that just fished 2 rods. Was like glass and a beautiful morning until I ran outta bait and all the yahoos were starting to show up in their oceanliners so I went and tied up for the day....pics to prove it

NICE.

Used to catch them like blue gills in Tn on spinner baits. Had my son at the time throwing em back. We caught em and threw em in the bottom of the boat when he would play catch and release. When the action was hot, he fell well behind the action. Don't live there anymore, so hats off to you and your catch

VERY NICE!

Looks like an amazing day. I can't wait to install my fishfinder and start some real fishing in new lakes and learn new things.

Obviously I should've gotten up earlier. Went out in the afternoon till about 9pm. Mid afternoon it was like Barnegat Bay with all the boats. Slow pick of perch, rock bass, LMB and a crappie.
