Thumbs up Raritan river photos 8/2011:

I want to thank Bronzeback for allowing me to post some of his recent photos. Bronzeback took up fishing not long ago and he is really keyed in on the Raritan river, it seems no matter where he fishes on that river he connects with big fish. He is modest and not boastful. I remember about five years ago a person joined NJF and claimed there were big smallmouth in the Raritan, I told him he was full of s%#$@t. Since then I have seen many pictures and some wall mounts that are just amazing. You know me, I’m full court press on the Raritan with the dams coming down, intensive shad studies and environmental groups taking a real close look at the river. I’m looking for better access and better stocking of warm water fish, I want to keep this ball rolling. I joke with the guys saying I’m going to be the first to run a guide service float boat on the Raritan, they think I’m a funny guy. Thanx again BB, C-U on da rivah ! Enjoy

Is that an illegal camera angle

Amazing fish no matter where you have fished just 10 minutes from your house.

"Rivah" thats RIVER, Snoop...word

Edit: I'm giving Bronze B. the credit for coining the term "Slimdart"

I've caught 3 and 4 lb. smallies from the Raritan, but that was many years ago. Glad to see they're still around.
