Delaware river 7/28/18:
Went on one of the rafting trips with a large group, Indian Head rentals in Matamoras, PA. Nice riffles and runs, tons of access I'm sure on the off season. All I could think about was giant smallmouth
9 mile float, the first hour was great, the next 3 hours it POURED rain. I mean the skies opened up for a solid 3 hours !!! Must have been the only rain in a 500 mile radius, as soon as we left the take out point the roads were bone dry ! We were below Barryville, the water choco-milk all day. Nice to see people keeping it clean, also saw the Fish police in a jet boat hanging out trying to keep dry. The river was a mob scene with kayaks, canoes and rafts.
