Default Thanksgiving Weekend Report

Maximum effort this weekend aboard the essential with not much to show for it.

Friday I finally got that damn skillful angler crappie. Must have about a dozen just short at 13.75"

The big crappie were thumbing the jig like bass.

Saturday got to the lake in the dark and tried our luck with the salmonz. Got 2 before 7:30am and then the bite died. Burned up the batteries and headed home early.

Sunday slept in a bit and hit the laker grounds. We had a good pick going and i was staying even with Chrisper for once. Just when it was picking up a a big boat comes screaming out and tells us we need to get off the water cause of an issue at the ramp.

Get back to the ramp to a 3 ring circus going on. Apparently someone decided to see if their truck would double as a submarine. Hope he has really good insurance.

Ah no kidding, from experience the Skillful Angler program is pretty strict about how clear the ruler has to be. I did send some crap examples in the past, like with the tape not straight as possible or the tape too small to read the #s

Hopefully they accept that laker tho.
