Default Spruce Run Ramp

Was there yesterday and thought I'd pass along some pics. The docks have been pulled out. Also if you look closely you'll see the buoy in front of the house is completely exposed.

Getting close to last years levels now, still think it was lower last fall but we're close. Its helpful for the shore guys, landed a couple hybrids Sat evening there with my kids. Hand any 7 yr old a rod with a striper on the end...good stuff!

.

Hey, was there a Quantum baitcasting reel on the end of the dock all the way to the right?

When I got out of my kayak last night to take a leak, I found a reel in the sand. It looked like it had been under water for a while, but still operated. I didn't have any use for it but I didn't want to just throw it out. So I left it on that dock for someone handier than me to fix it and use it.

How mad do you have to be to throw your reel in the water? That guy must have been having a bad day!

[EDIT] I just re-read your post and realized you were there yesterday, not today. Never mind.

I will be very quiet how I did on those waters on Sunday.

But amazing enough, it was not any of the rods I use.

I know it will come as a big shock to all, but it is the truth.

I think I was the last person to leave the park last night. There was only one car in the whole park when I left.

waters been low for weeks, the docks got pulled a over a month ago. you have to be careful navigating towards the tower, the point past the boat rentals is about 2 feet deep for a long ways out, you will hit the lower if you dont stay a ways back from shore
