Talking ScowEYEville Res. Fishing! 11/6

Hit a NNJ body hoping to get in on a hot bite. The Walleye have been chewing pretty good according to Scoward as you can see in his posts. Set up shop away from the recommended area thinking that I could find my own fish. Started jigging a blade bait and had fish on right off the bat. Hooked 3 fish on 5 drops but they all came unbuttoned halfway to the boat. I’ll never understand how a fish gets a lure with 6 points unglued. It is what it is! Kept at it as it was getting dark and finally got a good one into the boat. Fish went 23 inches and fat. Probably weighed about 5 lbs. Went 2-5 on a body of water I haven’t seen in years and will be giving it another shot sometime soon. This place is always empty and anglers seem to shy away from fishing here. I’ll take advantage knowing only a few are willing. TIGHT LINEZ!!!

nice eyes eddie, how did you get that fish in the second photo to look so small is that some kind of new filter on your phone or is that just a really big blade bait? also is that the lure that got stuck in my anchor line during the meet-n-greet on the cong?

Yes that’s the one. I snagged at this place 3 times. Hooked 3 fish on it and finally landed a good one then proceeded to loose it on some underwater structure. Haha! That bait had a good life.
