Take a look at the Daiwa Lexa reels. I have a couple for fluking and I'm very happy with them.

The Avet is a great, tough reel, but the Lexa will cast more easily.

I like my Daiwa Luna. I have trouble casting with my Avet. Not enough practice though maybe.

i am interested in this as well. The lexa 3000 is a spinning real. Do you mean lexa 300?

looking at revo inshore, lexa 300 and curado 300. Curious to know which one handles the salt the best with least amount of maintenance.

If you decide to go Avet, you might want to consider the models with MC Cast Control. Works well and definitely cuts down backlashes.
