Default River levels

Its really takin sometime for the levels to drop to fishable conditions only the south branch seems good.Is this due to where the rivers empty into?

Basically that may be somewhat attriable to where they dump, but I've always felt it's more like size & how many sizeable streams that may feed it. More runoff to enter any given river then it can flood ,discolor or whatever much faster. This is why large river like DE. always get higher day or two after a hard rain, it's caused by runoff capacity.

I never leave to hit a trout stream unless I check with this, if I think water levels are above normal.

This is great, when you know the flow of the river you are fishing, and cross reference to this site.

The information is usually spot on to
